もう17年くらい前の映画です。その当時も全国ロードショーでは無く一部映画館で上映してました。

ストーリーはギターの天才リッチー・バレンスのサクセスストーリーと悲劇、そして家族愛、恋愛についてです。

リッチー・バレンスの代表作はやはり「ドナ」でしょう。ドナとは恋人の名前で、とてもロマンチックな曲です。パッケージや当時のポスターにもなっていますが、リッチーがドナに電話ボックスでこの曲を歌う名シーンが有ります。全編当時の音楽が流れていて、音楽ファンにもおすすめです。また恋愛映画としても凝った作りではないですが素直に感動できる映画です。
