1981年10月に第1回目が放送された不朽の名作「北の国から」。放送20周年を記念して作られたメモリアルDVD。さだまさし「遙かなる大地より」を含むオリジナルサウンドトラック、国立ワルシャワ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団による「北の国からシンフォニックメモリアルアルバム」の音楽にのせて、富良野の四季の風景が美しくよみがえる。倉本聰の脚本、田中邦衛のナレーションと秘蔵写真で綴る「北の国から」20年間の全ストーリー。
