Bradygames has always made great guide books and this one is no exception. What makes this World of Warcraft Strategy Guide better than the other three is the introductory section for new players including information concerning the new changes to the game and world.
The authors have created an easy step-by-step guide to help new players to World of Warcraft become familiar with the game and understand the basics before launching themselves in raids or dungeons with the more experienced players. But there is also a lot of useful information for even the veterans of Warcraft who have been playing since it beginnings. This includes the section called "Upgrading to Cataclysm," which gives you detailed instruction on all the new features of the game. Another useful section of the guide is "Character Classes." This section gives you all the details about the many classes of Warcraft and which races are best suited for a class' talent and how to best use those talents. Finally, there is a good section on PvP combat; however, this section is a little useless for players who are already familiar with the concept of PvP. But it's a very good read for the new players as it is a feature of the game that is quite complex and difficult to understand at first.
All around this is a good resource to have for new players as it contains a lot of good information on getting started and playing the game. I found it also useful for the veterans as well since many changes have been made to the game since "Burning Crusade," and "Wrath of the Lich King."
